ENGLISH LANGUAGE ARTS

The SEAL (Secondary English for Adult Learners) courses are a series of ten courses at five levels, Secondary 1 to 5. Students will learn to use language in the expressive, transactional and poetic modes in contexts designed to appeal to adults. Using a variety of materials, the courses emphasize the integration of reading, viewing, writing, speaking and listening skills. Each course consists of a student course book which contains instructional material; exercises, many of which have an answer key; and assignments. Most of the courses are also accompanied by textbooks and/or audiocassettes.

Each course requires about 75 hours to complete.

If you wish to take any of the following courses, you must contact a school board which offers distance education.
