1. Clients

Any educational institution, company or organization that wishes to do so may order the “learning materials” version of SOFAD’s products.

Only school boards that adopted a resolution to offer distance education may obtain the required instructional materials.

2. Distributor

SOCADIS Inc. distributes all the products produced by SOFAD.

You can contact SOCADIS Inc. from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., by calling 514 331-3300 or 1 800 361-2847.

If you use your own order form, please indicate the SOFAD product code for each item.

Please note that SOCADIS does not take orders by telephone.

4. Prices

Prices are subject to change without notice.

There is a 10% discount for orders consisting of more than 100 copies of a single product.

5. Payment method

SOCADIS Inc. will issue an invoice payable within 30 days.

6. Fees

6.1 Taxes
The GST applies to all materials and transportation costs. The PST applies to all non-print products (e.g. audiocassettes, ring binders, cases), as well as delivery costs.

6.2 Delivery costs
You will be billed for delivery costs equivalent to 1.2% of the order cost (minimum of $6). You can, however, use a carrier of your choice and pay for the bill directly. In the latter case, please indicate the name of the carrier and your account number, if any, on the order form.

7. Delivery method

7.1 Delivery method
Unless you specify otherwise, parcels will be sent through a carrier. If you wish to pick up your order, please indicate this on the order form and indicate the name and telephone number of the person to call when the order is ready.

7.2 Delivery time
Orders are delivered from Monday to Friday, during working hours. If you cannot receive the materials (e.g. during vacation periods), you must advise SOCADIS Inc. Otherwise, you will be required to cover the cost of the initial delivery, the cost of returning the materials to the distributor and the cost of the second delivery.

8. Complaints and claims

Any claims for incomplete or incorrect (mistaken quantity or wrong document) orders must be made within 10 days of delivery. Also, defective or damaged items must be returned postage paid to SOCADIS Inc. within 30 days of the billing date. All sales are final and no returns will be accepted.

9. Reproduction copyright

Any reproduction by mechanical or electronic means, including microreproduction of documents(e.g. manuals, guidebooks, course textbooks, brochures), is forbidden without the express written permission of a duly authorized representative of the Société de formation à distance des commissions scolaires du Québec (SOFAD).
