Can young people under the age of 16 pursue their education at home?
Yes. Provided certain conditions are respected, parents who, for one reason or another, wish to take sole responsibility for their child’s education are permitted to do so by law. They may either supervise and support their child’s education themselves, or they may use the services of tutors.
In this case, the student is not eligible for distance education, but the materials produced by SOFAD could prove to be valuable learning tools.
